HERRISE PITCHFEST
How it Works
Join us at the HerRise to Capital event for a thrilling PitchFest designed to showcase innovative businesses and connect women entrepreneurs with critical funding opportunities. Here’s what you need to know about the competition format:
Round 1: Fast Pitch
- Eligible entrepreneurs interested in participating must sign up prior to secure a spot in the fast pitch round.
- Each registered participant will deliver a 60-second fast pitch to our panel of judges and event attendees.
- Judges will select three finalists who will advance to the final round.
Round 2: Final Pitch
- Finalists have 3 minutes to provide a detailed pitch, focusing on their vision, impact, and the benefits of receiving a HerRise MicroGrant.
- One winner in each category will receive a HerRise MicroGrant to support their business growth.
Criteria to Enter
To ensure fairness and focus on our mission to support women of color in entrepreneurship, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Founder/CEO must be a women or business must be majority-owned by a women
- Must be a U.S.-registered business
- Business must belong to one of the following categories:
- Tech/Tech-Enabled: B2B or B2C companies that leverage advanced technology to develop and deliver their products or services
- Consumer Packaged Goods: Includes any consumer products, media, e-commerce platforms, or services designed for end-users
- Must attend in person and participate in the HerRise to Capital event*
